The High Holy Days are almost upon us! Please use this page as a resource for all things Kol Ami High Holy Days 5782.

this year

As we strive to balance the need for in person connection as well as the health and safety of our congregants, we offer some alternative ways to participate in High Holy Day services this year.

All services will be available to everyone via Zoom and Facebook Live.

We are happy to offer our congregants in person services as well, but due to our current COVID precautions we will have limited seating available.

preference survey

We are asking all members to complete this survey by August 25th. It is important that you complete it even if you are not planning on attending in-person High Holy Day services.

book of remembrance

This year we are offering a special edition of the Book of Remembrance (BOR). This will be a combined book that will include both legacy congregations: Temple Emanu-El and Congregation Or Chadash. In keeping with tradition, we will include Kaddish, as well as other special prayers and meditations.

We will be sending everyone an electronic version of the Book of Remembrance. In addition, a limited number of printed copies will be available.

Submissions have now closed.

torah & tashlich

You are invited to join us on Sunday, September 12th, at 10:45 am to participate in the historic event of uniting the Torah Scrolls from our legacy congregations as we come together to form Kol Ami. After a short ceremony at the Country Club location, we will head to Reid Park for Tashlich (11:30 am) and a special celebratory party.
