Core Groups

Conversion Group

Led by Rabbi Batsheva Appel
Want to find out what it really means to be Jewish?

Temple Emanu-El’s conversion group meets every three months. The group is open to all who are interested in converting to Judaism, are already in the conversion process, or who want to learn more about becoming a Jew and living a Jewish life.
At each meeting, you will have an opportunity to speak with others who are going through the conversion process, as well as a guest speaker who has already completed the conversion process. You will also be able to ask Rabbi Appel any questions you may have about conversion.
This class is provided by the Ruth F. and Samuel H. Cohen Outreach Program of Temple Emanu-El.
Conversion Group meeting dates for 2019-2020:
Sunday, August 25, 2019; 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
